What is permanent outdoor lighting?
Permanent outdoor lighting is a programmable RGB lighting system installed in a track under the eaves and roofline of your home. It runs year-round, gives you warm white light for everyday curb appeal, and switches to full color for holidays, sports teams, parties, and events. You control it from an app on your phone, so you never put up Christmas lights on a ladder again.
What is low-voltage landscape lighting?
Low-voltage landscape lighting runs on 12 volts off a transformer plugged into a standard outlet. It's safer than line-voltage outdoor lighting, uses very little electricity with modern LEDs, and lets us install path lights, uplights, and accent fixtures throughout your yard with buried wire.
Do you design the lighting or just install it?
Both. Most homeowners want help with the design, so we walk the property at dusk, talk through what you want to highlight, and lay out fixtures and beam patterns that actually work. If you already have a plan, we'll happily install to it.
How much does landscape lighting cost in Utah?
Most landscape lighting systems run $2,500 to $8,000 depending on fixture count and property size. Permanent eaves lighting runs $40 to $60 per linear foot installed depending on roofline complexity. We give a firm written quote after the walkthrough.
Will permanent lighting damage my soffit or fascia?
No. The track mounts tightly under the eaves with non-penetrating fasteners where possible and small screws into the fascia where needed. When done right it's nearly invisible from the ground during the day and holds up through every Utah season.
Will the wiring run across my lawn?
No. We bury all landscape lighting wire below grade so it's hidden and protected. The only thing you'll see is the fixtures themselves.
Can I control the system from my phone?
Yes. Both our landscape lighting and permanent eaves lighting systems support app control, scene programming, schedules, and dusk-to-dawn automation. Most also integrate with Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit.
Do you service systems you didn't install?
Yes. If your existing landscape lighting has a dead zone, a failed transformer, or fixtures that quit, we troubleshoot and repair systems we didn't install. We can also expand or rebuild older systems with modern LED fixtures.
How long does installation take?
Most landscape lighting installs take one to two days. Permanent eaves lighting on an average home takes one day. Larger properties or combined installs may take longer, but we'll give you a clear timeline up front.
